This is an original frame from the 70´s, a rare item kept in mint condition just for you. This item is a new old stock and it was never worn.

In 1945 Pierre Cardin arrived in Paris. He worked for Paquin and then Schiaparelli. He met Jean Cocteau and Christian Berard, with whom he designed masks and costumes for films such as "La Belle et la Bête" (The Beauty and theBeast). In 1946 Pierre Cardin left to work for Christian Dior who had just opened his own business and in 1950 founded his own company, in the 10 rue Richepanse, and started designing masks and costumes for the theatre. In 1960 creaties the men's ready-to-wear department plus accessories and in 1963 the women's ready-to-wear department. One of the most inventive designers of all times was set to take over the world with more than 800 signed creations and objects, from clothing to furniture, deck cards to aeroplanes not to mention hundreds of the amazing eyewear models that are now considered timeless and iconic collectors items.
